Asbestos Awareness Training

Although asbestos has been banned in the UK, it remains present in many buildings and structures. Disturbing asbestos-containing materials can release harmful fibres into the air, creating serious health risks for those exposed.

This course provides essential awareness training to help you recognise where asbestos may be found, understand the dangers associated with exposure and identify the precautions required when working in environments where asbestos may be present. The training also explains relevant legislation and the actions to take if asbestos is suspected.
